The name Suminagashi refers to an ancient Japanese ink-painting technique. This creative concept informs the surface treatment of the panel, using an exclusive pattern application method to produce organic, ink-like graphics on the finished surface. The effect is inherently individual: each panel’s pattern cannot be reproduced exactly, ensuring uniqueness for every piece.

Manufactured from painted MDF, SUMINAGASHI Panels are processed with specialised finishing techniques that deliver both visual refinement and surface durability. The material and finish selection is executed to withstand everyday interior conditions while preserving the integrity of the decorative pattern.
