SUMINAGASHI Coffee Table 7 is a contemporary design piece created by DONNA in collaboration with the Ukrainian design studio DECORKUZNETSOV. The concept is rooted in the ancient Japanese art of suminagashi, where ink forms fluid patterns on water. This principle is translated into a functional furniture object defined by distinctive surface graphics and precise construction.

Each table is produced using an exclusive paint application technology that generates a floating-ink effect on the tabletop. The pattern is formed individually during production and cannot be replicated. As a result, every SUMINAGASHI Coffee Table 7 is a unique piece with its own surface composition.

The colour selection is available from a carefully developed palette aligned with the original design concept. It includes classic ink tones as well as contemporary accent colours, allowing the table to correspond to specific interior requirements while maintaining the integrity of the design idea.

Welcome to UPD club

The table is characterised by smooth contours and a minimalist structure. The support configuration can be customised according to the client’s request. The design of the legs reflects Japanese aesthetics, with a geometry that references the principles of origami through controlled lines and folded visual elements.

The SUMINAGASHI pattern can also be applied to wall panels or partitions, extending the concept into architectural applications.
