The RAFT Sofa 4 is one of the most recognised designs created through the collaboration between DONNA furniture company and the Ukrainian design bureau SVOYA studio, led by designer Denis Sokolov. The model reflects a contemporary approach to upholstered furniture, combining sculptural form, distinctive stitching, and advanced manufacturing capabilities.

RAFT Sofa 4 is designed as a modular and adaptable seating system, allowing flexible configuration to meet individual spatial and functional requirements. The design is built around smooth, voluminous forms, enhanced by expressive seam detailing that defines the structure and emphasises the sofa’s architectural character.

The visual concept is inspired by the shape of an inflatable dinghy. This influence is reflected in the rounded “inflated” volumes and rope-like stitching that visually organises the composition. The sofa is developed as a timeless and versatile furniture piece, suitable for both residential and contract interiors.

Each configuration can be customised in size and module arrangement. For large compositions, additional modules can be integrated to extend seating capacity. RAFT Sofa 4 can also include a matching bedside or side table, enhancing functionality and supporting cohesive interior styling.

The panels of the RAFT Sofa 4 can be produced using chipboard or MDF with natural wood veneer. Decorative panel inserts are manufactured from stainless steel treated using Titanium Nitrite technology, providing durability and a refined metallic finish. Upholstery materials are selected for durability, comfort, and long-term wear resistance.
