The SOLOMIA cabinet was inspired by the richness of the Ukrainian landscape. It seamlessly combines a vintage art deco style with modern Ukrainian design to create a unique and timeless piece of furniture, perfect for any interior.

Our story

The story of this furniture begins in Western Ukraine, where 80-year-old grandfather, Orestes, selects the straws for our items. He carefully sorts them by length and diameter. In our workshop, the straw goes through a staining process, after which it is inlaid onto the oak cabinet which meanwhile has been crafted in Odesa.

The straw for the inlay is collected, sorted and painted by hand, while a wooden frame is carefully selected to form the base. Each Solomia cabinet is then completed with ornate inlaid work providing a one-of-a-kind flair to each cabinet.
