Yermilov vases from the Suprematism collection by Kateryna Sokolova are not just functional decor elements, they are works of design art. Each vase combines geometric shapes and a modernist interpretation. They are understated, but not simple, have bold outlines and a complex colour scheme. A fully-fledged bouquet, a single flower, or even a twig or a spikelet can all find a place in them.

Applying simple shapes and complex colors together in a visual composition is an effective art technique that can be used to create something breathtaking. Moreover, by juxtaposing cool colors with warm colors or combining pastels with vivid primaries, it creates an interesting dynamic both visually and emotionally - one that captivates the viewer and inspires them to look longer. Utilizing these techniques is a surefire way to make an attractive, eye-catching composition that won’t soon be forgotten.
