Cross-Cultural Design Collaboration
This limited-edition designer chair is the outcome of a cross-cultural collaboration between Ukrainian furniture studio NOOM and British textile innovators Patience & Gough. The upholstery, Penrose Prowl “NAKED”, is woven from recycled plastic bottles — a sustainable fabric that combines technical innovation with visual storytelling.
The pattern introduces a layered narrative, where among its intricate lines the figure of the tigress emerges — a recurring symbol of courage, resilience and feminine power. The result is a piece where sustainable design, artistic symbolism and craftsmanship converge, lending the piece a cultural depth that resonates in interiors as well as in curated collections.

NFT-Enhanced Upholstery for Art Furniture
The fabric chosen for this edition is not only sustainable but also enriched with NFT art. This innovative approach connects digital creativity with tactile design, building a bridge between traditional craftsmanship and the evolving world of digital art. For collectors and designers alike, this fusion of recycled material and NFT symbolism places the chair at the forefront of art furniture, positioning it as both a conversation piece and an investment in the future of design.

Why Does Bauhaus Design Still Inspire Modern Interiors?
Returning to the ideas embodied in the silhouette of the chair, it becomes clear why Bauhaus furniture has never lost its relevance. The movement’s dedication to clarity, proportion and functionality continues to define the language of contemporary design, shaping how we think about objects and the spaces they inhabit.
The Gropius CS1 Chair demonstrates how these principles evolve: its sculptural geometry reflects Bauhaus ideals, while its sustainable textile and integration of NFT art speak to the materials and technologies of today.
This dialogue between the legacy of Bauhaus and the possibilities of digital innovation gives rise to furniture that is both timeless and forward-looking — pieces that resonate in interiors as statement accents and in collections as cultural artefacts.
