The name Falda originates from a term meaning a folded or bent strip of paper or fabric, which directly informs the design concept. This idea is expressed through the seat structure, where the upholstered surface visually wraps around and envelops the front and rear legs, forming a continuous folded gesture. The chair’s low profile, clean silhouette and controlled proportions give it a strong sculptural presence within an interior composition.

The construction combines a metal frame with polyurethane foam padding, fully upholstered in fabric, including the legs, which visually extend the softness of the seat to the floor. Falda can optionally be equipped with one or two integrated metal armrests, precisely embedded into the fold of the seat. Thanks to its soft geometry and carefully considered ergonomics, the FALDA Lounge Chair provides a comfortable and inviting seating experience. It is well suited for modern living rooms, creative studios, hotel lounges, reception areas and relaxation zones in public interiors.
